Living Well With Divination: 5 Habits So You Do Not Lean Too Hard
Divination can help you sort out feelings or give you a nudge. But leaning on it too much can weaken your own thinking. Here are five habits for getting along with it well.
1. You decide
A reading is one input. The final choice is yours. When things do not go well, take it as the result of your own choice rather than blaming the reading. That makes it easier to learn.
2. Do not believe only the good results
Watch for the bias of trusting good results and ignoring bad ones. Taking both as equal-weight hints is the balanced way.
3. Set a limit
The more anxious you are, the more you want to read again and again. Deciding how many readings a day you will do helps prevent dependence.
4. Do not decide big matters on a reading alone
For money, health, law, or anything involving life, consult a professional or someone you trust. Divination is no substitute for medical, legal, or financial advice.
5. Enjoy it
Divination is also entertainment. Do not swing too much with each result; enjoy it lightly, thinking, “That is today’s message.”
When things are hard
When anxiety or distress is strong, we recommend talking to a person rather than reading cards. Please rely on someone close to you or a professional helpline.
