What is tarot?
Tarot is a deck of 78 cards used for reflection and storytelling. It began as a card game in 15th-century Italy and later became a tool for divination and self-reflection.
This site uses the 22 Major Arcana, the cards from The Fool (0) to The World (XXI). They stand for big themes in life: beginnings, choices, change, hope and completion.
A card can fall upright or reversed. An upright card shows its main meaning; a reversed card often points to a blocked, delayed or inward version of the same theme. Neither is simply good or bad.
Treat a reading as a prompt for thinking, not as a prediction you must obey. Hold one clear question in mind, read the keywords, and decide for yourself what fits your situation.
